A ski pass is necessary for all children and adults participating in group lessons, from day 1 (with the exception of beginner groups - please check with the ESF secretaries, but a week lift pass will often work out cheaper than daily passes).
For children under 5, the ski pass is free but must be collected from the ski pass desks in the resort upon presentation of proof of age.
Where can I buy a ski lift pass?
On this website: once you have added ski lessons to your shopping basket, you can add lift passes for the entire family. The best price will automatically be calculated as a function of how many people, their ages and skiing level (remember it's cheaper for 5-11 year olds participating in ourson or flocon groups). You can either enter the 13-digit code of "skidata" badges you have in your possession (i.e. from last season, even if they are from a different resort) or order a new badge (1 €). If you reload your own badges they automatically top up when you go through the ski lift turnstiles on day 1 of your holiday. If you order new badges, you will need to collect them from the nearest ESF office to where you are staying in Val Cenis.
Or from the ski lift pass desks when you arrive in Val Cenis.
