What Skis Should Be Used for This Course?
You should use twin-tip skis (also called double spatula skis), preferably wider models suited for backcountry skiing. The skis should be approximately the same height as the freestyler for optimal balance and maneuverability during freestyle practice.
Is Protective Gear Required?
  • Wearing a helmet and a back protector is highly recommended, especially for freestyle or off-piste activities.
  • Off-piste safety equipment — including backpack, shovel, probe, and avalanche transceiver (DVA) — is not provided by the school. If your child is participating in off-piste sessions, you must supply this equipment yourself.
